Catfight at 2.43am. The Descent reeled me in again
okay it can be pretty creepy when you're surfing online at way past 2 am, and the sleepy voice of your grandma says, "theres someone at the door..didn't you hear the bell ringing?"
Okay a little heads up, my grandma's been sleeping with me for the past week or so cos i think she misses me. About 5 minutes ago, tonight(or this morning) she just muttered those words
and was staring at me with white/grey hair so wild, she makes bird's nest look neat! Of course it doesnt help that I was surfing for movie or viewers review on the horror flick The Descent (if you're going- what the f? on this title, check out Movie grip post or go online). I went to the bedroom door and stood on jagged nerves for an encore but there was nothing.
Being the cheeky old lady that she is, i later realised that she was pulling my leg when she grinned up at me. Punked by an old lady seasoned pro that i am *slaps forehead*. Lucky for her i love her to pieces, figuratively. And the old lady and me, we'rethe best of buds.
Anyways, seconds after i settled back into my seat, I hear cats meow-ing their hearts out as of ready to get into a scuffle. Sounds feral, dangerous and altogether catty. Imagine frizzy tails pointing upwards. Not good.
Ordinarily I wouldnt be affected by it but today seems to be a horror theme for tv land, cable and even inside my head so almost anything would make me jumpy. Man, my bladder's ready to burst and im not even gona head to the bathroom.
I'm having a very fertile imagination right now and the cats could be meow-ing (still meowing)Cos they saw something. Think i better lay off the sweet juice, sugar rush makes you go all nuts and creeped out.
Grandma's sound asleep now, with what looks like a contented smile on her face. Love the way she sleeps. Shes this petite old lady who looks like shes approaching full circle in which she beomes a young girl again (i got punked didnt i?). Boy, does she know how to snore tho'
Its good shes bunking in, least i can do is to care for her in case she gets scared or anything or is it the other way around?
Best to quit while im ahead.
